Important facts to know about The Queensland First Home Owners’ Grant.
*You must be 18+ and be an Australian citizen or permanent resident or apply with someone who is.
*You or your spouse must not have previously owned property in Australia whether your spouse is applying with you or not.
*The value of the property can be no greater than $750,000.
*You must move into your home within 1 year of you being entitled to possession under the contract or when the final inspection certificate is completed.
*The relevant date for the $20,000 Queensland First Home Owners’ Grant is the date of the contract, not to be confused with the settlement date.
